Prep and Tagging!!!!
Make sure you bring the appropriate season items.

We have a much easier tagging system this year.  It is a program where you just fill in the blanks on the computer, print them out and tag.  They will be barcoded and inventory will be on the program to cut down on check in times and to allow the consignors to watch their sale progress during the event.  Sign in Here to start Tagging!!   Those that consigned with us in the spring please make sure you reregister with your past log in information.  Once you register for the current sale you will be able to go back to your old unsold inventory and upload it onto the current sale so  you don't have to retag.  Once logged in you will go to manage inventory- in search criteria go to items not sold only and make sure you choose the spring sale then generate the report. Once the list is generated select all go to item transfer and transfer the items to the current sale.

Tagging Online Tips: You may want to do one page of tags (which is 6) and attempt to print to make sure your computer and printer have no glitches in the system.  It may be a wise investment to purchase a tagging gun (ebay around $5) it saves a lot of time.  If you use a tagging gun (available on ebay for $5) tag in the seams or on the clothing tag to prevent making a hole in the garment.  Please print tags on CARDSTOCK (holds up much better than paper).  Set your print quality to fast draft.

If you plan on sticking to the old tagging system the index cards please follow the following procedures. You still need to register online for a number and get on the mailing list.

Tagging Procedures
Please prepare cards as illustration shows
Top Left: Write your consignor Number
Top Right: Your Asking Price (Circle the Price if the item will NOT be half off during the final day)
In the Center: Short description of your item
Bottom Left: D if you would like to donate
Right Bottom: Size of item

Important Tips!!!!

1. Follow the illustration of the tagging procedures so can efficiently identify the consignor, the price and confirm the tag belongs to the item actually trying to be purchased (we know in reality tags can be switched, fall off or taken off) so for your protection we want to confirm the correct tag/item and if an item no longer has a tag we will not sell it.
2. Place small items or partners/bundles of items in zip lock bags and tag inside. (shoes, socks, onesies)
3. Consider using a hole punch and string on  items that cannot be pinned or would be damaged by tape.
4. Either tape or rubber band game boxes and puzzles.
5. Make sure any battery operated items have working batteries because we wouldn't want an item not to sell because the buyer couldn't confirm the item works.
6. If you make an error while making a tag please throw it away and start over.  For your protection we will not sell an item that has scribbles or cross out prices or has signs og being altered.

Prior to bringing your items to the drop off please confirm tags are correctly layed out and attached. Items are on hangers (you can always get free hangers from some dept. stores). Sort items by gender and size for quick set up.
Once items are ready to be dropped off come to the sale between the scheduled drop off times. Please bring in your clothing items first and then go back for your larger items so we can start sorting your items.  If there is anything we will not accept we can send that home with you at that time. During Drop off you will need to sign the consignor agreement. Please bring a SASE for shipping of  your check.  If you can't make it to the drop off ask a friend to do it for you but you must send along the consignor agreement.

What should I sell?

1. Clothing- We will accept in season clothing for preemie up to teenagers. We will also accept  any season Maternity Clothing. This will be the only adult clothing we will accept since it relates to having children.
If we have enough of certain themed items such as ballet, gymnastics, uniforms, etc we will have a special rack just for those items.
Please inspect your items before you tag them for holes, stains, or missing parts.  (some of this will be flexible as a tiny pin size stain, etc does not affect the item but please do note the flaw so there are no surprises when someone gets their new item home).  We will look through the items during drop off and will let you know if it will be accepted or not.
Please launder items so they smell fresh we don't want the smell of the garage some items may have been sitting in for some time.
You can always plan ahead and tag items as your children outgrow them for our next sale.
If you are selling multiple piece items please securely pin the pieces together and hang together as you would see in a store.
2. Shoes- Baby to Teen size shoes.  Only excellent condition shoes. Please be picky when it comes to shoes because the buyers will be.  Tie shoes together and smaller shoes place in a zip lock bag.
3. Toys- All toys must be clean and in working order. If the item requires batteries we ask that it have batteries so the buyer can see that it works. Toys that have multiple pieces should be placed in a zip lock bag and securely taped to the largest item.  Please label 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3 etc so we make sure all pieces go with the correct items.
4. Books, Movies, Puzzles, Games- Please be aware of how you label these you don't want tape to damage the items if you can put them in a zip lock bag that would be best.  Consider putting multiple books in one bag for one price.
5. Infant Equipment- We welcome all infant related items, items that help mom with baby care, etc. If you are selling bottles or smaller infant items please group a number together and place in zip lock bag for one price. Car seats must be no older than 5 years old and owner must sign a carseat waiver to be able to sell.  Call Dept. of Transportation for recalls 1-800-424-9393.
6. Furniture- We will accept all types of furniture for children. Items sell better if they are put together so they can be seen so please set up items if you would like (preferred).  They can also be left unassembled but you must guarantee all pieces are there.
7. Large Outdoor Toys- Little Tikes, Step 2 and other large outdoor play toys are HOT SELLERS.  Please clean the items up the best you can to get the most you can for them.  There may be identical items from other consignors so tape a card on the item plus find a secure more hidden spot for a piece of tape with your consignor number and price in case tags get swapped.

We will not accept:
Clothing that is heavily stained, has holes, outdated, broken zippers or snaps, etc.
Carseats that are more than 5 years old or have been in an accident.
Toys that are missing pieces or broken.
Toys that don't have batteries.

Thanks for you understanding our guidelines as we want to make this sale successful for you as a consignor but also provide you as a buyer high quality items at affordable prices.
